Once deployed, an enterprise can make changes to all their authentication methods and identity risk flows without any code changes to their applications.īoodaei said, "After working with more than 400 of the world’s largest financial institutions, we identified authentication as the next major hurdle they, and other industries, face from a security, fraud prevention, regulatory and customer experience perspective. The Transmit Security Platform (SP) uses mobile devices as the primary delivery mechanism to add any form of primary or secondary identity verification (facial/selfie, eye, touch ID and fingerprint, voice biometrics, SMS, etc.) to any application (web, mobile, call center, point of sale, ATMs, etc.). The company’s research and development team is made up of former members of Unit 8200, the elite Israeli Intelligence Corps. Boodaei also cofounded Imperva, a billion dollar provider of cyber and data security products. Our experience in securing and supporting mission-critical, customer-facing services for many of the most demanding enterprises guided us to delivering the next generation of CIAM software.” Rakesh Loonkar, co-founder and President of Transmit Security said, “Since we launched the industry’s first omnichannel identity orchestration product in 2016, we have consistently enhanced our capabilities and grown our customer base to support more than $2 trillion in annual commerce. Passwordless and Multifactor Authentication, Authorization and User Management, Digital Identity Fraud Protection, and Embedded Orchestration. The platform offers modular services, which are provided as user-friendly APIs for developers. To make it simpler for businesses to get the identity services they require for the best balancing of security and customer experience, the company renamed and repackaged its integrated platform products - BindID, RiskID, FlexID, VerifyID, and UserID - as the Transmit Security CIAM Platform. We’re proud to introduce those expanded capabilities as core parts of our cloud CIAM platform.” We understand that account security, threat intelligence, and identity verification - seamlessly integrated as an end-to-end solution - are essential to protecting customer accounts while delivering an excellent user experience. Mickey Boodaei, co-founder and CEO of Transmit Security said, “From our founding, we have delivered identity orchestration, multifactor and passwordless authentication, and other capabilities for the most risk-aware companies. Additionally, the business changed the names of its identity products to reflect the move to a developer-friendly strategy for providing secure identification services via APIs. Transmit Security introduced significant updates to its customer identification and access management (CIAM) platform as well as significant milestones, record client and revenue growth for the first half of 2022, and other noteworthy information.

Taurine is at the center of these Red Bull rumors: it is an amino sulfonic acid that occurs naturally in meat, fish, dairy items, and human breast milk, but is produced synthetically for Red Bull. The rumor is wrapped up in misunderstandings of “taurine,” but consumers of Red Bull can rest assured they are not ingesting bull sperm or bull urine! So, What Is Taurine? And what Is Aminosulfonic Acid? While it may seem silly to even ask, this is a rumor that has circulated for years. Is Red Bull Made Out of Bull Sperm or Bull Urine? Over the years, Red Bull has added new flavors like blueberry and kiwi to try to appeal to those who don’t like the original taste. Some describe it as being similar to cough syrup. It has a distinct flavor that some people love while others just tolerate. The same is true of the original Red Bull. Imagine trying to describe the taste of licorice: it is distinct and memorable, and once you’ve had it, you always know what it tastes like. Is Microwave Popcorn Healthy or Bad for You? The caffeine content in some energy drinks can be in excess of 200 milligrams-twice as much as an average cup of coffee. Sometimes you will see them sold in sizes similar to other beverages, such as a 16-ounce bottle, while they’re also often packaged in smaller, more concentrated sizes, such as a two-ounce energy “shot” drink. 10/2/2023 0 Comments Etrian odyssey 5 websiteI love the final boss design and encounter but some of the others including the first stratum’s boss design are weak. Enemy design could be a bit better especially for bosses. There’s even an outer space themed area here. V is no slouch here with lush and unique locations for each stratum. A Botanist with poison early on is a fantastic party member to have.Īside from the great in game UI, I’ve always enjoyed the visual direction for the labyrinths in Etrian Odyssey games. Back to the combat, get ready to make full use of status ailments, binds, and more here. I’ve always been impressed by Atlus game UIs. It isn’t drastically different to Untold 2 but recedes into just icons until you highlight an option which is a nice touch. Combat is turn based again and the in game UI is really nice. It makes it hard to go back to older games thanks to this. The best part about a new Etrian game is how all the quality of life improvements to map drawing from past games are all here. Exploration and map drawing is still in first person with maps on the bottom screen. This is another callback to classic Etrian Odyssey with one big labyrinth. There are 30 floors in total for this dungeon. Instead of multiple dungeons or a separate story dungeon and the likes in the newer Etrian games, you just have one big dungeon here that is split up into stratums with a boss fight at the end of each stratum. This experience is all about your own party and navigating the labyrinth until the end. While there are some NPCs that you interact with in the labyrinth, don’t expect a grand story. When you level up and have a skill point, you can either use it in a race skill or in a class skill. In fact I’d recommend redoing the opening with a few party combinations to experiment and see what you fancy. If you feel adventurous, a triple Necromancer party is always an option. The good thing about a robust customization and class system that now has a race system as well is the various combinations you can come up with to play. This is an interesting twist on a tried and tested formula. Skills are also split up into class and race skills. I’d recommend sticking to the standard race and class combinations unless you’re a veteran Etrian player. Once you select a race, you get to pick a class to start off with, but can change classes early on in the game. Instead of just having classes, there are now races and classes. Speaking of going old school, I’m quite annoyed that the FM soundtrack DLC is releasing on October 31 and not at launch. You can even opt for no voice if you’re going completely old school. There’s the freedom to use whichever voice with whichever class and portrait here. You have the ability to change colours of things like eyes, hair, and more. Each character in your party can be customized to a frankly crazy degree and there are even multiple voice options. Creating your own party and traversing through a giant dungeon that is split up into stratums is what you will be doing here. In some ways it does feel like a step back but the improvements and new features to classes, customization in general, and skills make it feel more focussed and evolutionary. This game has no story focus or airships or anything like that. While Etrian Odyssey IV and the Untold games on the 3DS have been big departures from the classic Etrian I and II gameplay, Beyond the Myth goes back to the beginning. This year, the Etrian Odyssey franchise celebrates its 10th anniversary and there’s no better way to celebrate than a game that feels like a true evolution of what makes Etrian Odyssey so great in the first place, quality dungeon crawling. I was excited to play Etrian Odyssey V not just because it is a new Etrian game but also because it is the first time a new Etrian game is releasing when I’m familiar with the franchise. At one point many people (including myself) thought Atlus was just done with the 3DS in the West, but before E3 we got a trifecta of announcements. The wait has been almost as excruciating as that damn spirits club in Persona Q. After more than a year of waiting, Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth has finally released in English. 10/2/2023 0 Comments Army signal corpIn WWI, telephones then were called candlestick phones. Telephones were secure and immediate they were the primary way men communicated. The signal could be plucked out of the air and you could trace where it came from. The other problem with radios was that there wasn’t any measure for disguising the transmission so they weren’t secure forms yet. To get a radio field unit required three mules to carry it. As a general, you couldn’t talk to somebody directly. Telegraphs operated on Morse code and it was a slower process. The way this worked in WWI was the telephone was the key instrument in the war. What role did the telephone play in getting women to the front? These were the things the women brought back from WWI, which also gives you a peek into their own mindset, their sense of humor, their willingness to laugh at their circumstances and themselves. But then I’m looking through them and on the other side are these perfectly crisp pictures of naked women! French pornography of the 1910s, it was very tasteful. I see a glimmer and I think it’s his shelves, the room. He said, ‘Take a peek, you can see in them.’ I put this penny-sized pair of binoculars on, and I took a peek. One of the first things he showed me was a charm-bracelet-size pair of binoculars. He had a box that was memorabilia the women shared with him. I worked with them for several years to get. I’ve been in Bosnia and Iraq for eight years, and I have three boxes of materials from the Hello Girls. I went to the Seattle Bar Association, contacted them, asked can you get me in touch with him? They had an old email, tried a few times and didn’t hear back, and after a couple months I heard back. When I talk with some people they say, ‘How can you write this story? These are obscure people.’ I was aware that Mark Hough, a young man in his 20s in the 1970s, became a champion for the women. How did you find information about the women featured in your book? The women of the Signal Corps prepare to depart for the war.Ĭourtesy of Robert, Grace and Carolyn Timbie is one of those problems that seems very new, and yet it’s something women were experiencing 100 years ago. In the context of all that, I can’t remember how I tripped across these women, but it struck me there was an important story here. I was searching for a topic for a new book a couple years go, thinking about centennial, and we probably didn’t need another thing about Woodrow Wilson, though someone will write it. To learn more about these women and the role of telephones in the war, talked to Cobbs about her research. Eventually 223 American women were sent across the ocean to work at Army switchboards across Europe. In the first week of December 1918, before the War Department even had the chance to print out applications, they received 7,600 letters from women enquiring about the first 100 positions in the Signal Corps. Fortunately, women were quick to respond. The Army needed more operators, bilingual ones especially, and it needed them quickly. When the United States declared war, the Signal Corps had only 11 officers and 10 men in its Washington office, and an additional 1,570 enlisted men around the country. They were masters of the latest technology: the telephone switchboard. Army Signal Corps sent 223 women to France. This is the story of how America's first women soldiers helped win World War I, earned the vote, and fought the U.S. The Hello Girls: America's First Women Soldiers At the start of the 20th century, 80 percent of all telephone operators were women, and they could generally connect five calls in the time it took a man to do one. “Telephones were the only military technology in which the United States enjoyed clear superiority,” Cobbs writes, and women were by far the best operators. These intrepid women are the subject of Elizabeth Cobbs’ new book, The Hello Girls: America’s First Women Soldiers. The women would work for the Signal Corps, and came to be known as the “Hello Girls.” But by late 1917, General John Pershing declared he needed women on the frontlines for an even more crucial role: to operate the switchboards that linked up telephones across the front. Initially, they worked as clerks and journalists. It was a measure of how desperate the country was for soldiers and personnel to assist with operations stateside, and American women seized the opportunity to prove their patriotism. Several weeks before President Woodrow Wilson asked Congress to declare war on Germany, the United States became the world’s first modern nation to enlist women in its armed forces. 10/2/2023 0 Comments Development of kansas city jazzThe Pendergast political machine collapsed after Tom Pendergast was indicted on tax evasion, reform elements took over and nightclubs and cabarets shut down.
